On January 10th and 17th, 2026 Hideaway will be hosting the Second Annual Lake's Got Talent Contest. Last year, Magician Jimmy Rook and Guitarist Jacob Walker were crowned top talent in Lake County! This year we are at it again.
Do you sing, tap dance, juggle, slam poetry, swallow swords, spin plates on your head, dribble 17 basketballs while telling jokes, or ANYTHING of the like? If so, we want YOU to register for Lake's Got Talent! We want your TALENT to shine on our stage!
Acts selected for the competition will take part in the preliminary competition on January 10th where they will have the chance to WOW our Judges AND the Audience for a chance to advance to the finals on January 17th. Only the top 10 acts will move on to the finals. How will YOU wow the judges?

Acts of all ages and sizes are encouraged to apply by completing the form below and (if possible) submitting a video of the act. Producers will view all submissions for content and viability and will reach out to every submission to let them know if they have been accepted to the competition. Those accepted must be available on the evenning of 1/9 for tech rehearsal and evenings of 1/10 amd 1/17 for performances. Not all those who perform in the 1/10 preliminaries will make the finals on 1/17.
Winner will receive a CASH prize of at least $500 as well as the option to perform their own headline show at Hideaway Performing Arts Center.
Registration fees are as follows and will ONLY be collected from those accepted to the competition. Those facing financial hardship can contact Hideaway Managment to discuss options for having their registration fee waived once admitted to the competition. We will also be accepting a limited number of GAG ONLY acts - acts simply looking to be silly without the expectation of moving on in the competition. (Think of those awful acts you see on AGT that never stand a chance!)
